Court rules Jussie Smollett RELEASED from prison during his appeal

BREAKING NEWS: Judge Orders RELEASE Jussie Smollett From Jail During His Appeal After Just Six Days In Jail

Disgraced ‘Empire’ actor Jussie Smollett will be released from prison after just six days behind bars.

Judges have ruled that he must go free while his lawyers work on an appeal against his five counts of lying to police about a racist and homophobic attack.

He will be released from the Cook County Jail on $150,000 bail.

Smollett, who was serving a sentence in a psychiatric hospital, was sentenced to 150 days in prison.

On Tuesday, the fallen actor was transferred from a psychiatric hospital, where he was forced to sleep on a “link bed”, and sent to a general isolation ward.

The actor’s lawyers told the panel of judges that his sentence would be fully served by the time the appeal process was completed.

Smollett’s release is another bizarre twist on a bizarre tale about a minor actor who tries to raise his profile by fabricating a hate crime against himself.

In January 2019, Smollett, who is black and gay, told Chicago police that he was assaulted by two men wearing ski masks making racist and homophonic remarks.
