As soon as he entered Parliament, the American President, accompanied by Mr. Trudeau, shook hands with the dignitaries present in the Hall of Honor, first George Furey, President of the Senate of Canada, Anthony Rota, President of the House of Commons, and in particular the official leader of the opposition, Pierre Poilievre, Chairman of the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC).

Radio-Canada has learned that the agreement between the Government of Canada and the United States at Roxham Road will come into effect at 12:01 am on Saturday. The details of the agreement are not known, but according to information first released by the Los Angeles Times and confirmed by Radio-Canada, Canada would agree to take in 15,000 migrants through official channels.
