COVID-19: two more deaths in Quebec

Quebec has added two new COVID-19-related deaths to its tally as hospital admissions decline.

Thus, a new death occurred in the last 24 hours, while another occurred two to seven days ago.

According to the public health report, 1,655 Quebecers occupy a hospital bed due to COVID-19, down 16 from the last report. Of these, 36 people are in intensive care (-6).

The province also reported 712 new cases detected at testing centers, while 159 rapid tests that tested positive were reported during the day on Sunday itself.

Additionally, due to the virus, 3,403 healthcare workers are still off the network to retreat, isolate or await results as a preventive measure.
