Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla (read who is in the interview with Federico Fubini), 61, Greek-American, announced via Twitter that he had tested positive for Covid-19. The pharmaceutical company’s chief executive said he was “grateful” that he had received four doses of the vaccine and was feeling fine with “very mild symptoms”. Bourla (2021 Person of the Year for L’Economia del Corriere) said he had started treatment with the antiviral Paxlovid.
I would like to inform you that I have tested positive #COVID-19. I am grateful to have received four doses of the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine and I feel fine despite having very mild symptoms. I am in isolation and have started a Paxlovid cycle.
