Craig David announces his upcoming show in Sussex has been CANCELED due to “unexpected circumstances”.
Craig David has canceled his upcoming show next weekend and shared the disappointing news with fans on Instagram on Friday.
The singer announced that due to “unexpected circumstances” he will not be taking the stage at Wiston Estate Park for Wiston Summer Sounds on Friday September 8th.
The 42-year-old didn’t explain exactly why he was canceling the show, but assured fans that all tickets would be refunded.
Craig is still scheduled to perform at Pub In The Park in St Albans on September 9th before flying back to Ibiza for Ibiza Rocks the following week.
He wrote on Instagram: “Due to unexpected circumstances, next week’s show on September 8th at Wiston Estate Park for Wiston Summer Sounds has unfortunately been cancelled.”

“Please contact your point of purchase to receive a full refund of your tickets.”
He continued: “Hopefully I’ll see you all again soon. “Love, Craig xx.”
The star also posted the same statement on Twitter, where he was flooded with support.
One fan wrote: “I hope you’re well my friend and if not sending you loads of love x.”
Another wrote: “I hope you and your family are well. Big hugs.”
But the cancellation was out of Craig’s control and was not his decision.
All performances scheduled for the event have been canceled due to a suspected issue with the venue.
Organizers also said in a statement that the cancellation was due to “unexpected circumstances” that impacted the planning of the event.
Craig was due to bring his world famous TS5 live show from Miami to West Sussex for one night only for the Wiston Summer Sounds Festival.
The set combines massive old skool anthems from R&B to swing, garage to bashment with the latest chart-topping house hits.

They wrote: “It is with great disappointment that due to unexpected circumstances which have had a significant impact on our planning and are working tirelessly to explore all possible ways to get the concerts up and running in their current form, we are unfortunately unable to do so “We will be able to continue with Wiston.” Summer Sounds 2023.
