Hurt by the criticism he received after declaring he would vote zero in a hypothetical second round between Lula (PT) and Jair Bolsonaro (PL), Tiago Leifert was last Tuesday (7 ) .
Neto, who was in solidarity football with Guilherme Boulos (PSOLSP) last weekend, commented on the statement made by the Globo presenter who said he would rather die if he had to decide his vote in the elections.
“Tiago Leifert, you don’t have to shoot yourself in the head not to vote for Lula. You just don’t have to choose. You don’t have to vote for Lula, but you voted for Bolsonaro,” said the former Corinthians player.
“You choose what you want. Now you won’t vote for anyone, but you don’t have to shoot yourself in the head,” he added.
Neto also spoke of public figures’ responsibility in the face of elections to influence voters.
“Voting is important at the moment we are in, regardless of who you are going to vote for. So you don’t have to say that. They influence people,” he said.
Finally, the moderator downplayed his colleague from Globo, who exchanged barbs with Felipe Neto on the networks.
“Nobody presents Big Brother like you do. Nobody. You are the best. Bial, who started, then came Tadeu Schmidt… May Our Lady Aparecida bless your daughter and you too,” the former player concluded.
