Cricket legend Shane Warne dies at age 52 of alleged heart attack at Thai villa
Australian cricket hero and legendary spinning leg Shane Warne has died at the age of 52.
Warne’s management issued a brief statement in the early hours of Saturday (AEDT) that he had died Thailand on suspicion of heart attack.
He is believed to have been in Ko Samui at the time of his death.
“Shane was found unsuitable in his villa and despite all the efforts of the medical staff, he could not be revived,” the statement said.

“The family wants privacy right now and will provide further details in a timely manner.”
The news was met with shock by both former teammates and rivals.
English cricketer Kevin Petersen tweeted: “Damn!” and a series of sobbing face emojis with the hashtag #RIPKING.
The playboy laricin from Australian cricket took 708 necks in his famous 15-year career, but he was as famous for his life off the field as he was.
