While participating in Mais Você (Globo), Cristian defended himself against allegations of religious intolerance against Fred Nicácio, which may have been the reason for his departure from BBB 23.
“I am very interested in religions. It was not my intention to speak ill of his religion. Prejudice isn’t something that’s part of my roots,” he explained.
A poll by UOL indicated that allegations of intolerance were the reason behind the elimination of Cristian, who received 48.32% of the vote.
For 78.55% of the public, Cristian’s comments during a conversation with Gustavo and Key put the brother out of the game. On the other hand, 21.45% believe that he would be eliminated anyway.
Cristian added that his conversation with Nicácio after presenter Tadeu Schmidt’s message on religious diversity was not open enough and hopes to have the opportunity to speak to the former prison colleague’s team.
“We didn’t have enough time to really have an open conversation about what happened that night. I apologize and want to speak to his weapons of mass destruction,” he concluded.
