On Sunday, January 7th, comedian Jo Koy hosted the 81ste edition of the Golden Globes, and the comments were unanimous and not very complimentary towards him.

Since the opening monologue is always highly anticipated at ceremonies of this nature, viewers were disappointed with the 52-year-old comedian's performance, pointing out that his jokes were predictable and even veered toward sexism. We could also see from the faces of the nominees in attendance that several of his lines failed.
Then the host sensed the tension and, above all, the lack of laughter in the room and defended himself by saying that he had had little time to prepare since he had only received the contract a few days ago and that the jokes , which made him laugh, came from him himself, insinuating that the writers who helped him did their jobs poorly.
While several stars smiled out of politeness as the camera was trained on them, Taylor Swift contented herself with taking a sip of her cocktail after a joke made to her.
