This Sunday, May 7th, crowds gathered in London for King Charles III’s heart show. near Windsor Castle. The event, which began at 4pm with the arrival of the royal family, will feature Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That, Olly Murs and Andrea Bocelli, among others. The King and Queen Camilla arrived early and waved to the audience.

According to tabloids, major British performers were called to the show but refused to take part. According to The Sun, Adele and Ed Sheeran were invited to sing at the concert, but they declined without further explanation. Robbie Williams was also not willing to participate and did not give a reason. His former band Take That will perform without him.

Another big British name who received an invitation to sing at the party was Elton John, reports the vehicle. However, the artist will not be able to attend as he is in the middle of his European tour. He was one of Charles’ priorities for the “Coronation Concert”. Elton was one of Princess Diana’s best friends.

King Charles III, son of Queen Elizabeth II, who died in 2022, was crowned at Westminster Abbey in London on Saturday. The ceremony also crowned Camilla Parker Bowles as Queen of the United Kingdom.
