TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (WABC) — A large crowd forms in Times Square in front of the Pele Store, hoping to catch a surprise from one of music’s biggest stars.
BTS’s youngest member, Jung Kook, is expected to hold a “special event” in New York City on Thursday evening. A stage was set up in front of a Jung Kook billboard in Times Square, increasing fans’ excitement.
Fans are speculating that there will be a surprise Jung Kook concert tonight, and it is estimated that a few thousand fans have gathered in anticipation.
BTS’s management company tweeted on Wednesday that there would be a surprise in New York City on Thursday.
Jung Kook released his debut solo album “Golden” on November 3rd.
He opened the GMA summer concert series in July, and fans camped out for a week before the show.
