Cuba Adds 25 Cases of Coronavirus in 24 Hours Latest news from Cuba and Cubans around the world

The Cuban Ministry of Health reported the number of coronavirus infections of 25 cases in the past 24 hours on the island.

The MINSAP also said there were no deaths from the disease that day, keeping the total since the pandemic began at 8,529 deaths.

The coronavirus tests performed on the island were 2,928, and with that the country collects 13,940,823 performed samples and 1,105,778 positives.

The women infected with the disease were 15 and 10 men.

The MINSAP also indicated that 2 asymptomatic cases were reported, accounting for 8.0%, and these total 147,023, accounting for 13.3% of the cases confirmed to date.

Of the total number of coronavirus infections that day: 20 were contacts of confirmed cases, 5 with a source of infection abroad and 0 without a specific source of infection.

As of midnight Sunday, June 19, a total of 257 patients have been enrolled, 170 suspected and 87 confirmed active.
