Cuba takes part in the Ibero American Business Meeting

HAVANA, March 24 (ACN) Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investments (Mincex) Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz heads the Cuban delegation present at the XIV Ibero-American Business Meeting in Santo Domingo, as part of the XXVIII. Iberoamerican Meeting attends Summits of Heads of State or Government.

via twitter, Janet FernandezMincex’s Director of Trade Policy with Latin America and the Caribbean, informed that as part of the representation, specialists from Pro Cuba, the Chamber of Commerce and the local development project Plaza la Marqueta in the province of Holguín also took part.


The meeting, which began this Thursday, is the single benchmark for private sector engagement and business development, which will bring together key government agencies and prominent representatives from institutions, multilateral organizations, business associations and companies from across the region.

Under the motto “Together for a fair and sustainable Iberoamerica”, some of the topics of this edition are investment, tourism, connectivity, digital transformation, sustainability, infrastructure, energy, social engagement, gender equality and others.
