Cuba thanks embassies for the triumph of the revolution

The Caribbean nation’s foreign minister, Bruno Rodríguez, said on Twitter that these solidarity demonstrations represent a recognition of the example of the dignity of the Cuban people and their unyielding choice to resist, fight and win.

More than 50 heads of state and government and political and social organizations have sent messages to the Cuban authorities expressing their support for strengthening bilateral relations.

Congratulations have come from China, Egypt, France, Italy, Vietnam, Vatican City, Spain, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Morocco, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia and Türkiye, according to newspaper.

Heads of State and Government from Russia, DPRK, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Poland, Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Croatia, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Panama also sent messages.

On January 1, 1959, the rebel army led by Fidel Castro defeated the tyrannical forces of Fulgencio Batista, achieving revolutionary triumph and national liberation.
