Cuba thanks messages for triumph of revolution

Havana, 2 January (RHC) This Monday, the Cuban authorities thanked the statements of solidarity that had come from different parts of the world on the 64th anniversary of the victory of the revolution.

That The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, assured on Twitter that his country is not alone, highlighting the messages received from more than 50 heads of state and government as well as greetings via social networks and public events and demonstrations celebrating the anniversary in the world.

Manuel Marrero, Prime Minister of Cuba, also thanked the congratulations from different parts of the world and assured that the country would continue to move forward firmly and always confident of victory.

The Caribbean nation’s foreign minister, Bruno Rodríguez, said on Twitter that these solidarity demonstrations represent a recognition of the example of the dignity of the Cuban people and their unyielding choice to resist, fight and conquer.

More than 50 heads of state and government and political and social organizations have sent messages to the Cuban authorities expressing their support for strengthening bilateral relations.

Congratulations have come from China, Egypt, France, Italy, Vietnam, Vatican City, Spain, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Morocco, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia and Türkiye, according to newspaper.

Heads of State and Government from Russia, DPRK, Switzerland, Greece, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Poland, Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Croatia, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Panama also sent messages.
