Cuban PM congratulates Vietnam on national holiday

Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz congratulated the Vietnamese people as they celebrate their national day and the 78th anniversary of independence this Saturday, September 2nd.

“Cuba and Vietnam are linked by historic brotherly bonds forged by our leaders Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh,” Marrero wrote on the social network X, formerly Twitter.

On December 2, 1960, Cuba became the first Latin American country to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam.

Esteban Lazo welcomes the 78th anniversary of Vietnam’s proclamation of independence

The President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and the State Council, Esteban Lazo Hernández, also sent greetings to the brotherly people of Vietnam.

“Congratulations to the heroic people of Vietnam who continue the legacy of Ho Chi Minh, on the 78th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the National Day, also to the deputies and authorities of the National Assembly of the Sister Nation of Asia,” Lazo wrote on the social network X, formerly Twitter.
