As an employee of the Sexual Crime Investigation Group (GICCS), Alice Martin-Sommer will experience an exciting start to the season. While her investigative partner Fred Masson, played by Marc-André Grondin, discovers that she is secretly participating in webcam sessions with suspects, Alice finds herself in the crosshairs of her commander Alex Dorcely (Benz Antoine), who is made aware of the affair. “To discover the full extent of Alice's secret to the duo she forms with Fred, you really have to listen to the series. One thing is for sure, it will be exciting! The viewer can expect a psychological thriller full of drama and action. For her part, Alice will be even more rigorous than usual in defending victims of sex crimes.”

In addition to her various investigations, the police officer will develop a relationship with Rémi Deblois (Pierre-Yves Cardinal), an attractive and mysterious real estate agent. “She will meet him in a bar and be very intrigued by him. As the episodes progress we will learn more about the relationship between them. Note that a fourth season of Reasonable Doubt scheduled for 2025 has already been confirmed by Radio-Canada.

A NEW PAGE FOR HIS BOW
Julie Perreault has been an actress for 25 years and a photographer for 15 years and is now interested in directing. “Moving from acting to directing makes sense in my career. Through a conversation with producer Fabienne Larouche, I had the opportunity to observe the filming of the first season of STAT. So I did my courses before I started. For a year I have been directing here every day, alternating with three other directors. It takes a lot of time! I’m also scheduled to produce more episodes this winter.”

Thanks to this new professional experience, Julie Perreault feels more comfortable than ever. “I am currently living the ideal that I have always dreamed of. I still have that curiosity that pushes me to put myself in harm's way, and I'm glad I didn't get stuck on just one thing. Today I am proud to say that I am an actress, photographer and director at the same time.

ON THE SAME SET AS HIS SON
Additionally, the actress had the opportunity to direct her son Thomas Delorme on the set of STAT last fall. After graduating from the Montreal Conservatory of Dramatic Art in 2023, Thomas has been playing the role of Xavier in STAT since last year, a young microbiology student whose adoptive grandmother was hospitalized after ricin poisoning. “I really enjoyed working with him in a professional context for the first time. I don't know if this will happen again in the future. For my part, I don't feel any personal satisfaction from seeing him follow in my footsteps. Thomas is currently experiencing a new beginning in his life. He doesn't want to be associated too much with his parents. We'll let him do his thing, but I'll always be there to support him. At the moment, Julie Perreault doesn't know if her daughter Élizabeth will follow the same path as her brother. “She is currently 15 years old. We will see.”

On a personal level, the actress has been sharing her life for five years with George Kontogiannis, a firefighter who also works as an actor in his free time. “First of all, my friend is a lieutenant for the city of Montreal. “Sometimes she plays roles here and there, but nothing more,” she concludes.
