The Department of Cybersecurity and Digital Affairs is launching a public consultation on cybersecurity this week. This will allow the Government of Quebec to survey a large number of stakeholders as well as the general population on cybersecurity issues and needs.
Municipalities, private companies, public organizations, non-profit organizations, the scientific and research community and citizens are invited to express their opinions.
The Government of Quebec wants to hear from and work with the Quebec ecosystem to strengthen Quebec’s cybersecurity.
The consultation will take place from November 1st to 30th via the government platform Consultation Québec. You can participate by either answering an online questionnaire or submitting a dissertation according to a pre-determined template. Both options are offered to encourage as many people as possible to participate.
The information collected will make it possible to determine strategic areas of intervention and propose concrete initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity in Quebec.
