Miley Cyrus’ younger sister Noah vented her anger at online trolls who criticized her looks after she found out about her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus.
Just three days after announcing she’d accepted her boyfriend’s marriage proposal, the 23-year-old singer revealed she’s received a barrage of cruel comments, calling her “ugly” and her “body and face” negative will be commented.
“Since I announced something so pure and happy for me and my life, the internet and commenters have worked so hard to take away my joy, love and happiness,” the Grammy nominee wrote on her Instagram story.

Noah said the backlash made her “so concerned for the kids growing up on the internet” and for her own future kids.
“No one deserves the words I read today,” she told fans. “And I’m lucky to be in a place where those words don’t make me want to hurt myself all over again.”

In a follow-up post, Noah, who has been open about battling addiction, anxiety and depression for years, emphasized that she only brings up these concerns because she knows “so many people are struck by the same words.”
“It’s 2023. We MUST stop judging people by who they love, what they look like, where they’re from and how THEY live their lives,” she pleaded. “I’m so sick of it… people lose their lives over words like that.”
The performer ended her post by urging the haters to hold back on her “murderous words,” which they “dropped at the click of a button” with no accountability.

Earlier this week, Lil Xan’s ex-girlfriend announced her engagement to Pinkus.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted the sparkler on Noah’s left ring finger as she walked the runway during the Marine Serre Menswear Spring/Summer 2024 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on Saturday.
Pinkus is a German fashion designer who owns clothing company COLORS, which specializes in puffer coats. In November 2022, he announced his new project on Instagram, writing, “I’m excited to introduce you to my new project called Colors.”
Noah has worn pieces from the COLORS line, including a deconstructed cream puffer coat that left most of her torso bare. The brand released a photo of Noah in their design on January 31.
Pinkus commented below the post with three emojis with white circles symbolizing cleanliness and purity.

In April, she shared a TikTok with the couple kissing in the front seat of a car while Noah and Vance Joy’s song “Everybody Needs Somebody” plays in the background.

A few days later, she shared a TikTok of them kissing next to a waterfall. “Take my love if you can love me that’s enough,” she captioned the clip.
Previously, Noah had confessed that she didn’t think she would reach her 20th birthday.
