After releasing the first trailer for Madame TeiaThe Sony pictures released an unprecedented behindthescenes video in which the actress Dakota Johnson and the director SJ Clarkson they present who the protagonist of the film is; Look up.
“Madame Web is different from all other superheroes. When SpiderMan flies through the air when Venom transforms, it’s something mysterious to us. Everything is very psychological with her,” explained the filmmaker. Johnson agrees: “Your greatest superpower is your mind.”
Check out the official synopsis: “Meanwhile in another universe… Madame Web tells the solo film story of the origin story of one of Marvel’s most enigmatic heroines. In the thriller, Dakota Johnson plays the role of Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forms a relationship with three young women who have a powerful future ahead…if they can survive the threatening present.
In addition to Dakota Johnson like Cassandra, Sydney Sweeney like Julia Carpenter, Isabella Merced as Anya Corazon and Emma Roberts as Mary Parker in the SpiderMan spinoff Adam Scott (Break), Mike Epps (Next Friday), Celeste O’Connor (Ghostbusters Beyond) and Tahar Rahim (O Mauritano) in the cast.
Directed by Madame Teia SJ Clarkson and the premiere is scheduled for 14th of February.
