Back in October 2019, the Fifty Shades actress attended the 11th Annual Governors Awards Gala at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Los Angeles. When she arrived at the event, attendees were stunned by Dakota’s two-piece silk white dress. The top of the dress was cropped, with a slightly gathered bodice and spaghetti straps. Meanwhile, the second half of the ensemble featured a cinched waist with an exposed stomach and a semi-pleated skirt that reached to the floor.
For jewelry, Dakota paired the daring look with dangling triangle diamond earrings. Forgoing her usual natural makeup, the Persuasion star sported a smoky eyeshadow and berry lip color.

When photos from the event went viral on Instagram, fans were immediately smitten with Dakota’s revealing choice. They quickly responded by leaving comments on social media.

However, others might associate their fashion style with see-through picks.
