Buffalo Bills star Damar Hamlin is in critical condition in the ICU after suffering a cardiac arrest during last night’s MNF game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hamlin had tackled Bengals receiver Tee Higgins in the first quarter of Monday night’s crucial game and stood up briefly before falling backwards to the ground and lying motionless.
He received CPR in the field before being taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was “sedated” and “intubated.”
A close family friend, Jordon Rooney, and the Bills organization confirmed Tuesday that Hamlin remains in intensive care.
Hamlin’s family thanked the “dedicated first responders” who resuscitated the Buffalo Bills player after he collapsed on the field and suffered cardiac arrest.
