Priest Mysterio

Damian Priest reacted to Dominik Mysterio’s loss at NXT No Mercy. At the show, Mysterio lost the North American Championship to Trick Williams.

Mysterio had previously won the title after dethroning Wes Lee and ending his historic reign as North American champion. The Judgment Day member successfully defended his title against Sami Zayn, Dragon Lee and Mustafa Ali, whom he defeated in a triple threat match with Lee.

On Twitter, Priest responded with a GIF of his own reaction at this year’s SummerSlam. The reaction came after Finn Bálor’s controversial loss to Seth Rollins.

Priest responded to a message from Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley, who also responded to Dominik’s loss to Trick Williams. Ripley was absent from WWE television following an attack by Nia Jax. Therefore, she was not present in Mysterio’s corner for his match against Williams.

Corey Graves recently praised Dominik Mysterio for his recent work

On the After the Bell podcast, Corey Graves pointed out the pressure of having a famous last name like Mysterio. He said Dom was motivated to step out of his father’s shadow.

Graves said:

“For me, Dominik is currently doing one of the best jobs in the industry. Part of it was out of necessity, in the sense that you look at all the second and third generation Superstars that have walked through the doors of WWE. Yes, you have your Charlotte flavor, you have your Randy Ortons, but having a famous last name, especially at the Hall of Fame level, can often be more of a curse than a blessing.”
