Damião (Xamã) will continue to rack his brains over whether or not to kill José Inocêncio (Marcos Palmeira) in Renascer. Although it evoked sympathy for the protagonist and especially those who work for him it was ultimately the job for which he was hired. In fact, the person behind such an atrocity will be revealed in the next chapters of Globo's nine o'clock soap opera.
This is Egídio (Vladimir Brichta), the macabre farmer who recently arrived in the Ilhéus region of Bahia. The villain still bears the suffering of his father Firmino (Enrique Diaz), who lost his position as Colonel PicaPau with the arrival of the farmer. The bandit died after a series of clashes with João Pedro's father (Juan Paiva).
The problem is that even Damião doesn't know who ordered the service. Egídio was particularly careful to keep this a secret, perhaps fearing that this was exactly what would happen: the murderer quit his job for a coat tail.
In the soap opera, Vladimir Brichta's character will reveal himself as the one in charge. He will talk to a man and explain that he will not pay for the service until Damião provides it. The mediator, in turn, will confirm to the villain that the murderer has no idea who involved him in this venture.
Ultimately, the hitman will prefer to give up his job and profession. He will settle on the farm and work for Inocêncio, where he will be close to Ritinha (Mell Muzzillo) and his new friends.
Renascer was written and created by author Benedito Ruy Barbosa. The first version was broadcast on Globo in 1993. Bruno Luperi is the writer's grandson and is responsible for the adaptation of the rural saga, which premiered in prime time in January. The remake will air until September.
