The NBC singing competition was a star-studded affair, with many famous friends appearing on the epic stage for the final performances.

First up, upcoming Season 25 coaches Dan + Shay took the stage with a performance of the title track from their latest album, “Bigger Houses.”

Next, Keith Urban performed a special acoustic version of his 2016 hit “Blue Ain't Your Color.”

Afterwards there were epic final performances from Teddy Swims, AJR and Earth, Wind & Fire!

ET spoke to the coaches on the red carpet ahead of the first live show of the season, and everyone marveled at the range of talent they saw on the show this year.

“The talent was there across the board this year – all of our teams are pretty crazy,” enthused Niall. “The voices I have this year are simply some of the best singers I’ve ever heard.”

John agreed, saying, “The depth of talent this season is better than I've ever seen on this show since I've been here.”

“This is my eighth season and I have never seen such a high level of quality across the board,” he continued. “I am so impressed with our artists this year.”

“I have some great singers, and I think at some point people will fall in love with not just the voice, but the person,” Gwen shared. “This season it’s ridiculous. I know we say that every season and it always feels that way, but this one presents a particularly big challenge.”

“I really couldn’t tell you [who might win]” Reba agreed.

The Voice returns for season 25 in February 2024.
