Dancing with the stars hasn’t started yet, but the excitement of the debut is already being felt, at least among first-time competitors called up to try their hand at dancing. Among them is also Iva Zanicchi, who accepted Milly Carlucci’s invitation to get involved on the dance floor of the Rai1 dance show that starts on Saturday 9 October. The emotion is great for the singer, but there is also a certain perplexity towards Selvaggia Lucarelli, the feared judge of the program along with Carolyn Smith, Ivan Zazzaroni, Fabio Canino and Guillermo Mariotto.
In the clip by Ballando Segreto, a web space dedicated to the talent show, Zanicchi speaks to Milly Carlucci and refers to Selvaggia Lucarelli: “The jury… each of them will have a role, by now we know television. Everyone told me ‘be careful, be careful’… About this one, what’s her name, I don’t even remember her name. I’m sorry Lucarelli. If you say things, I’m fine. then I hope … that it doesn’t offend, if it offends then I can’t”. Her reflection aroused the laughter of the presenter, who wanted to clarify that in Ballando one never gets personal and that it is always useful to ease the tensions calm down with a few jokes.
In short, the climate already seems lively enough for an issue that already promises sparks between Zanicchi’s reflections and the previous defamation conviction between Mughini and Lucarelli.
