Dancing On Ice: “I love that there are so many experts in the room!” Christopher Dean fires back at the audience as they boo the judges for Mollie Gallagher’s low score
Christopher Dean snapped at the crowd at Dancing On Ice on Sunday as they booed the judges for the score they gave Mollie Gallagher.
The 25-year-old Coronation Street actress skated alongside her skating partner Sylvain Longchambon and received a score of 26 out of 40 from the judges.
Each judge gave her 6.5 points each, but that obviously left the live audience unimpressed, who started booing her after they announced their score.
When it was Christopher’s turn to announce his result, he sarcastically quipped, “I love that there are so many experts in the room!” to the heckling audience.
Delivering his criticism, the judge said he thinks Mollie started on the right foot before things took a leap.

He said: “You started great, but as soon as you started skating yourself it just slowed down, your confidence dropped a bit.”
However, he clearly has confidence that she can improve as he added: ‘I’ll challenge you; Would you like to be the first person to do the headbanger next week?’ to which Mollie replied: ‘Yes!’
Many viewers took to Twitter to comment on Mollie’s score, with some agreeing with the judges while others felt it was too harsh.
One user said: “Mollie was so underrated! She walked the whole sequence side-by-side solidly and the acrobatics and lifts were amazing… give her extra points for agreeing to do the headbanger next week.
Another wrote: “I’m sure the judges need to copy their scores! Mollie was brilliant!’ while a third said: “I love Mollie think she’s gorgeous but this wasn’t her best routine”.
A fourth agreed, saying: “That wasn’t Mollie’s best skate”, while another wrote: “Mollie does quite a bit of solo skating, her points don’t show that.”

Dan Whiston, creative director of Dancing On Ice, told The Sun: “We’ve had a lot of falls this week, with pro skater Sylvain being taken to hospital after hitting his chin on the ice during rehearsals.
“He had his chin taped and luckily was back on the ice with Mollie Gallagher who put on a solid performance.”
Despite the setback, this week Sylvain and Mollie posted an impressive 28.5 score for their emotional skate, performed to the song She Used To Be Mine from the hit musical Waitress.
