“Danger!” Final Jeopardy contestant’s wrong answer attracts viewers

Danger! fans couldn’t help but be drawn by the member, who had some quirky moments on Thursday. Joel Levinson, head of content from Ohio, showed his personality right from the start. Levinson, with his curly hair and mustache, seemingly sarcastically nodded at the camera during the performance, shrugged, then smiled and nodded.

Prompted to “Put on a glove and a wire mesh mask,” Levinson leaned back in his chair and guessed in an unexpectedly shrill cartoon voice, “What is lacrosse?”

Host Ken Jennings commented, “Never heard that voice before, Joel.”

But the audience loved it.

Levinson brought that humor right into Final Jeopardy! with an answer he knew for sure was wrong, which was also appreciated.

The clue was: “This 1962 classic was dedicated to Albert Schweitzer, who predicted that humanity would ‘eventually destroy the earth.’

Levinson looked up at the sky and folded his arms over his head as Jennings read his reply.

“You recorded the classic non-fiction book Are You There God?” It’s me, Margaret,” said Jennings, chuckling. “I’m afraid that’s wrong.

You’re Here God It’s Me Margaret is a 1970 novel by Judy Blume. The correct answer is Silent Spring by Rachel Carson.

And while Levinson didn’t know the answer, he knew enough not to bet on it.
