The Montreal Alouettes have continued to hand out new contracts to players as part of their conquest of the Gray Cup, as offensive lineman Jamar McGloster and defensive back Dionté Ruffin signed agreements on Tuesday.
The contracts of the two Americans are now valid until the end of the 2025 season.

McGloster joined the Als in 2022 after stints with the Ottawa Redblacks and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He also served on the NFL practice squads of the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders.
During the Gray Cup game, McGloster played as the starting right tackle. He played in all three of the club's playoff games and 11 regular season games.
Ruffin, for his part, played for the Chicago Bears (NFL) and the Calgary Stampeders (CFL) before joining the Sparrows in 2023. In 12 regular season games, he made 23 tackles and forced a fumble, and added seven tackles in three playoff games.
In recent days, defensive linemen Mustafa Johnson and Shawn Lemon and linebacker Darnell Sankey have received new contracts in Montreal. Quarterback Cody Fajardo also received a contract extension.
