Alongside pictures from their time together, Natasha wrote: “I’ve found the paradox that when you love until it hurts there can be no more pain – only more love – Mother Theresa.

“There are no words, Darius… just love, love, love. Forever Janam.«

In the first stunning photo, Natasha and Darius could be seen posing in front of a sunset, before adding a series of selfies from over the years.

Another photo showed the duo with their two sons, Tristan River, 23, and Asher Sky, 21, whose stepfather was Darius.

The couple, who have been together since 2004, married at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California in 2011 but later filed for divorce in 2013.

After a brief reconciliation in 2016, their divorce was finalized in 2018. He previously told the Scottish Herald: “This relationship has certainly not been without its ups and downs. Over the course of 12 years we broke up many times and had a six month period.

The couple never had children, although Darius enjoyed his role as stepdad to Tristan River and Asher Sky’s son, whom she shares with ex-husband Damian Chapa.

It comes after news that Darius was just weeks away from a reunion tour with his former co-stars.

It comes as sources close to Darius claim he was very “excited” for his reported pop idol homecoming – and comeback trip to the UK – just weeks before his death.

Stars of the show, including Queen singer and American Idol winner Adam Lambert, are set to be invited back to film Thames TV at the Criterion Theater in the West End, the Sun reports.

Music mogul Simon Cowell led the tributes for the pop idol icon after the pair first crossed paths when he placed third on Pop Idol in 2002.

Simon told Web: “I first saw Darius on TV over 20 years ago and got to know him really well. He was charismatic, funny and just a great person to be with.”

“His death is an absolute tragedy for someone so young and my heart goes out to his family and friends.”
