It comes as sources close to Darius claim he was very “excited” for his reported pop idol homecoming – and comeback trip to the UK – just weeks before his death.
Stars of the show, including Queen singer and American Idol winner Adam Lambert, are set to be invited back to film Thames TV at the Criterion Theater in the West End, the Sun reports.
Music mogul Simon Cowell led the tributes for the pop idol icon after the pair first crossed paths when he placed third on Pop Idol in 2002.
Simon told Web: “I first saw Darius on TV over 20 years ago and got to know him really well. He was charismatic, funny and just a great person to be with.”
“His death is an absolute tragedy for someone so young and my heart goes out to his family and friends.”
