Savage Garden singer Darren Hayes lights up the Melbourne stage during his latest tour
He has always been known for his flair for fashion.
And Australian artist Darren Hayes was photographed in a dazzling outfit on stage at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday night.
The 50-year-old looked energetic as he performed a string of his solo hits and classics from his Savage Garden days.

His outfit was dressed in black from top to bottom and included leather trousers, a jacket and platform boots.
Darren is performing across the country as part of his Do You Remember Tour.
He is scheduled to perform at Sydney’s Aware Super Theater on Tuesday, Newcastle Entertainment Center on Wednesday, Brisbane Entertainment Center on Saturday 11 February and Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center on Sunday 12 February.
His tour supports his latest album, Homosexual, which was released on October 7th.

Last year he released his first track from the album entitled Let’s Try Being In Love which he performed at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade in March 2022.
“I felt a tremendous sense of sadness about my relationship to my sexuality and sadness about my career at the height of my Savage Garden fame,” Hayes told the Herald Sun at the time.
The Insatiable hitmaker came out of the closet in 2006 when he married his partner Richard Cullen in the UK.

Savage Garden, consisting of Darren and guitarist Daniel Jones, formed in 1993 and produced a string of #1 hits including To the Moon and Back and Truly Madly Deeply.
Unfortunately, a rift between bandmates led to their split in 2001 at the height of their fame.
Darren continued his solo career while Daniel married former Hi-5 star Kathleen De Leon.
When Darren appeared on The Kyle And Jackie O Show last year, he clarified that the real reason Savage Garden split was because Daniel decided to leave.
