Data from Matthew Perry’s first toxicology study revealed

The sudden and strange death of Matthew Perry has captured the world’s attention and it’s no wonder, because the actor who played “Chandler Bing” captured the hearts of millions of viewers who watched “Friends” at some point.

Now that the causes of death are not entirely clear, authorities are investigating the reasons why the famous man’s life ended. Yesterday, police sources announced the results of the toxicology test.

In fact, one of the hypotheses was that the death could have been caused by an overdose. In several interviews, Matthew Perry confessed that his battle with addiction was always one of the parts of his life that caused the most conflict, and although the actor has indicated on various occasions that it is not his goal to continue in it.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office had already completed the autopsy, but it was listed as “postponed” due to the lack of a toxicology test.

The initial test results only cast more doubt as, according to TMZ, “Matthew Perry’s death was not the result of an overdose of fentanyl or methamphetamine, at least that’s what initial tests indicate.”

Police sources said authorities were continuing to investigate even though they had not found this type of drug, as antidepressants and prescription anti-anxiety medications were found in his home.

“It is important to note that more in-depth testing is still being conducted as part of toxicology to analyze whether other illicit drugs are present in his blood and whether prescription drug concentrations were at harmful doses,” he said.

Furthermore, the aforementioned media reported that this could take between four and six months.
