Gerard Guillemette was born on October 8, 1933 in Saint-Nrée, in Bellechasse. He will officially celebrate his 90th birthday tomorrow. Mr. Guillemette worked in Springfield, Massachusetts (USA) for several years before returning to settle in Saint-Nérée. He was successively a farmer, maple grower, postman, priest of the parish of Saint-Nrée and also the owner of a retirement home. He has been married to Hélène Roy for 67 years and the couple had seven children, 19 grandchildren and soon a 24th great-grandchild. Gérard and Hélène now live at the Manoir du Coteau de Beaumont, where the photo was taken. Coming back to Gérard, he is always active and never turns down a little game of Joffre (card game). Happy birthday in advance, Gérard.
