He said, “I have this [clears throat], she doesn’t love that. I haven’t always done it, maybe in the last 15 years.
“There are probably a few other things I do that they don’t. I’m very clean and she’s not.’
Not wanting people to think his wife is unsanitary, he was quick to add, “I’m neat and she’s not.
He added jokingly, “She washes from time to time.”

Discussing his love of fashion, David said that contrary to popular belief, his fashion designer never had any say in what he wore.
He said: “People always thought Victoria had a big influence on what I wear, or hairstyles or tattoos. I have always chosen to wear a full leather outfit or a full denim outfit. I loved fashion.”
The father-of-four also said his favorite Spice Girls song is “Say You’ll Be There,” which he first heard with Gary in Maldova.
Gary said, “Is it true that you invited them to the players’ lounge a few weeks later?”
He said, “I have this [clears throat], she doesn’t love that. I haven’t always done it, maybe in the last 15 years. There are probably a few other things I do.
David replied, “Social media wasn’t a part of our lives back then, no. I just found out she’s here. I don’t know, it should just be Gary I suppose.’
David also spoke about some of his famous hairstyles from years past, admitting his cornrows and mohawk looks were his “most controversial”.
He said: “Mohawk and probably the cornrows. I had them made in the south of France while drinking a glass of rosé.”
When asked what his favorite hairstyle was, he added: “Apart from this one, I’ve always liked the skinhead. It was easy, you didn’t have to do anything with it. I loved the skinhead.’

The sports star said he estimates he now has 81 tattoos and listed his children’s names as his favourites.
He said: “I’m probably 81 now, individual 81. The first was Brooklyn on the bottom of my back, the second was the angel. I slept at your house at the time and it stuck to your bed.
He added: It’s hard to pick a favorite name…kids names…and Victoria’s. Throw that in.’
David was also asked which of his children was closest to him in character and gave a diplomatic answer.
He said: “It’s an obvious thing. I see a little bit of myself in all children. Romeo’s stubbornness, Harper’s kindness, I’d say. Brooklyn is a softie and very caring.
“Cruz…Victoria always said I was pretty funny and no one knows it. Cruz is quite a character, so I’d like to say that Cruz has my funny side.
