When the former Manchester United footballer heard her comments, he poked his head through the door to call her out.
“Be honest!” David said to his wife, to which she excitedly insisted, “I’m being honest!”
David then quickly reminds her that her nickname is “Posh Spice” for a reason: “What car did your dad drive you to school in?” he asked her.
When Victoria tries to explain her way out, the former football player interrupts her again.
“An answer,” David said to his wife. “Which car was it?”
The couple goes back and forth a few more times before Victoria finally gives in.
“OK. In the ’80s, my dad had a Rolls-Royce,” admits the Spice Girls singer.
Finally satisfied with his wife’s answer, David thanks her briefly before saying goodbye.
The TikTok clip of the scene, uploaded 15 hours ago, has already been viewed 2.6 million times. There are also over a thousand comments on the video.
“I love that he humiliates her. Like her name was a fancy spice and she went to private school,” one TikTok user said in a comment that was liked over 54,000 times.
“The fact that he was obviously listening at the door is hysterical,” another TikTok user commented.
David and Victoria have been married for 24 years and have four children together: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
