Some details about the EQS
As a new member of the Mercedes electric family, the EQS is also available as an SUV. “The EQS sedan differs from the S-Class sedan in its completely different format [même] if the comfort is comparable,” explains Car Guide columnist Antoine Joubert. In fact, it is more practical because of the tailgate.

Otherwise, the EQS is available in three versions. The basic version produces 355 hp and can travel 563 km. The EQS 580 4MATIC increases the cavalry to 516 hp at the expense of a slightly lower range of 547 km. The AMG is significantly more efficient with its 649 hp and up to 750 hp when Race Start mode is activated.
Finally, the EQS has a very aerodynamic body, as it has a low drag coefficient of 0.21. In addition, the rear wheels are steered and can turn up to nine degrees.
Antoine’s advice and the rally
This week Antoine talks about the factors to consider when a consumer is hesitant about purchasing a new or used low-mileage vehicle. In this sense, depreciation, maintenance and repair costs, warranties and the impact of new technologies on reliability will be discussed.
