Love Island fans have slammed Davide Sanclimenti for a “tasteless” Instagram post touting a return to the villa despite his split from Ekin-Su Culculoglu.
The hunk shared the sad news on Instagram Thursday that he’d split from the Turkish actress after 11 months together, just days after the couple attended the premiere of Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny together.
However, on the same day he also shared a handsome shirtless post coming out of a pool on his web with the cryptic caption: “Guess who’s coming back.”
He also added an island emoji, fueling further speculation that he could be in for a bombshell return to Love Island, especially since Casa Amor is just around the corner.
But fans weren’t particularly happy with the timing of his post, with some calling it “tasteless,” while another fumed: “I really expected more class from you.”

Davide wrote, “Ekin-Su and I are no longer together.” I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared and wish her all the best.

Ekin-Su and Davide have been crowned the winners of Love Island 2022 after a tumultuous romance.

Sources have also claimed that the couple have left for a trip to Amsterdam but have struggled to get their relationship back on track.
A source told The Sun: “They hadn’t gotten along for a while and were really trying to make it work, but despite their best efforts, they decided to call it quits.”
Earlier this week, Davide hinted his relationship with Ekin-Su was on the wane when he posted a shirtless snap that hinted he might be returning to the Love Island mansion.
He captioned his post, “Guess who’s coming back.”
Ekin-Su has yet to post anything on social media about the split, revealing on Instagram Stories on Thursday that she reunited with her mother and aunts while on vacation.
A representative for Davide Sanclimenti declined to comment when contacted by Web. A representative of Ekin-Su Culculoglu was contacted for comment.
This comes after Davide admitted earlier this month that he and Ekin-Su are still having “issues” with their relationship.
The Italian businessman opened up about their relationship in an interview with The Sun, reflecting on the realities of their life in the spotlight.

They moved in together after winning “Love Island” last year, but were forced to dismiss claims earlier this year that their relationship was for show.
In April, Ekin-Su was reported to be “angry and upset” after finding messages and pictures of two models on Davide’s phone.
A source said at the time: “Everything exploded last Sunday when she found messages on Davide’s phone about their time together.
“He had texted the two girls and she assumed they all met one night.
‘Ekin-Su contacted one of the girls to let them know that she knew about things. She was angry and really upset.’
A representative from Ekin-Su declined to comment on the story. Web had also reached out to Davide for comment, but he has not yet responded.
Davide’s interview came after Ekin-Su revealed that she “has no more friends” after going public.
The beauty opened up to Cosmopolitan about her struggles with personal relationships.
She admitted that since she became famous, people don’t “want” to be friends with her because of her “status.”
The star even revealed that close friends, like one she’s known for over 10 years, shared stories about her.
Though Ekin-Su reflected on having “no more friends,” she insisted she was “much happier” that way, especially with the support of her boyfriend Davide.
She told the publication, “I lost every friend I had.” I have no friends. I have a friend and that’s it.

“Unfortunately, when I left the villa, I had to cut people out of my life.”
