Bruno Arena, comedian and stand-up comedian of the duo Fichi d’India, died today, September 28. He was 65 years old.

In 2013, Arena was struck down by an aneurysm after taping an episode of Zelig, the show created by Fichi d’India, the comic duo consisting of Arena and Max Cavallari.

The two then took part in other shows and many comedy films.

Arena, born January 12, 1957 in Milan, was a physical education teacher in various schools in the province of Varese, but by the age of 26 had already embarked on the path of entertainment and comedy.

In 1984, he was the victim of a car accident that required him to have multiple surgeries and partially impaired his vision.
