Deadpool 3 is officially postponed to July 26, 2024

A Disney hit the hammer this Thursday (9) and announced the premiere of Deadpool 3 is officially postponed to July 26, 2024. The news was announced after a period of intense speculation during the suspension of production activities following the recently concluded Hollywood Actors Guild strike. The information comes from THR.

As already stated by the director Shawn LevyOnly half of the sequence had been filmed, delaying the entire postproduction process and the remaining schedule for the sequel’s official release. However, with the end of the category’s suspension, the sequence has already resumed its activities.

This will be the first Deadpool film following Fox’s acquisition Disney and the first to take place in the official chronology of MCU.

The previous two features from 2016 and 2018 brought in more than 1,000 combined $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office. The first Deadpool was directed by Tim Miller and the sequel, released in 2018, was directed by David Leitch.

Deadpool 3 is directed by Shawn Levy (Project Adam) and is scheduled to premiere on May 3, 2024, but is subject to change due to industry shutdowns.
