Death in Love: Streaks of Sadness in the World of Entertainment in Recent Months

Causes of death for actors, musicians, singers and television characters include suicide, cancer, heart disease, overdoses and accidents, among others, who have died in the past three months amid a period of mourning in the entertainment world.

In the 15 days of 2024 alone, at least twelve celebrities have said goodbye to the world under different circumstances.

On Sunday it was announced the death of Dominican musician Janni Viloria, former member of Chicas del Can, who died at the age of 54 after brain surgery.

Also reported on Sunday was the death of Mexican influencer Sebastián Bautista, who died in a buggy accident on Saturday.

Earlier Saturday, “Honeymooners” actress Joyce Randolph, who played Trixie, Ed Norton's sarcastic wife, died. She was 99 years old.

Randolph died of natural causes Saturday evening at his home on Manhattan's Upper West Side, his son Randolph Charles told The Associated Press on Sunday.

A day earlier, on Friday, American actor Alec Musser, 50, said goodbye.

Musser played Del Henry in the American soap operas All My Children and I Wanna Be a Soap Star, as well as in films such as the popular comedy Big Kids.

Spanish actor Juli Mira, known for his role in the legendary series Cuéntame, as it happened, also died on this day. He was 75 years old.
