Thousands of supporters of the popular Quebec group help singer Karl Tremblay sing the song “On my Shoulder” as he sits in his chair, visibly exhausted.
Put your head on my shoulder
So that my love touches you
You, who needs it so much
Ten years and dust have passed
That we face the winter wind
Together we are afraid of nothing
Tell yourself this tonight, my friend
You are not alone in the world
After that touching moment, Karl Tremblay quickly said, “Oh sh**! We are not alone tonight” in front of the largest crowd recorded for a Quebec artist at the festival.
FEQ communications director Samantha McKinley told the Journal de Québec that it was “an all-time record.”
