As Deadline revealed, the possible reason for the cancellation is the comedy’s low ratings. It barely charted in Netflix’s weekly top 10 rankings, appearing only once at #6 upon its July 29 release.

The story revolves around Michael (Harris), a man who thought his life was perfect until his husband dumped him overnight. He must now face two nightmares losing what he thought was his soulmate, and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his early forties in the big, tumultuous city of opportunity that never sleeps.

New romances, drunk nights and dating attempts via dating apps mark the preview of the series directed by Andrew Fleming (Emily in Paris) and written by Jeffrey Richman (Modern Family) and darren star (Sex and the City).

The cast includes actors Tisha Campbell (Me, the boss and the kids) Emerson Brooks (From the Seabed 3), Colin Hanlon (The good fight) Ivan Amaro Bullon (The wonderful Mrs. Maisel), jay santiago (New Amsterdam) among others.
