Deep Rock Galactic Survivor in the demo version dwarves ore

Deep Rock Galactic Survivor in the demo version: dwarves, ore and beetles – PIEUVRE.CA

What, another adaptation of Vampire Survivors? Uh yes! The formula seems to be working, because the titles that take up this idea of an action game in which we have to defend ourselves against ever larger, more resistant and more dangerous waves of opponents are becoming more and more numerous. This time it is the game Deep Rock Galactic that is entitled to a rework.

Developed by Funday Games and published by Ghost ShipPublishing, the title, currently offered as a demo version, builds on the foundations of its “big brother”: a dwarf who lives in space and whose job is to extract the valuable resources from the basement On different planets, you have to repeat this task here while defending yourself against monsters who are very annoyed to see you land in their home, in the depths, and make holes everywhere.

In addition, the same holes will be an integral part of the game: because in addition to the goal of killing enough creatures to reach the “main villain” at the end of the level, you will have to recover various resources by digging the ground: whether it is gold or to accumulate other ores to purchase upgrades or complete secondary objectives, mining will be crucial.

To escape your enemies, it is also possible to simply dig a new path through the rock, changing the playable area on the map.

But whether it’s to save ourselves or recover various gems (or even a substance that restores life points), be careful in our decisions: our character will always move slower when he’s busy digging – and will be completely immobile when reducing a deposit of recoverable resources that will allow the monsters to gradually get closer…

So it’s up to us to carefully calculate our movements and our tactical decisions. Since the dwarves may be resistant, it won’t be long before our life bar drops to zero and our “dive”, which usually consists of five phases, suddenly ends.

In short, it is thanks to all of these features that Deep Rock Galactic Survivor stands out in a world full of games that are all a little similar.

Of course, the title is still only available in demo version, with several classes, planets and other features still inaccessible. Despite everything, the whole thing is honestly promising and it is possible to spend many hours killing another monster or even collecting an additional nugget…
