Delta Goodrem has always had something very special with her fans.
And now the 38-year-old singer has shared how they played a crucial role in her recent engagement to long-term boyfriend Matthew Copley.
“I actually realized that the Innocent Eyes Tour was a total national engagement party,” Goodrem told 9Entertainment about her recent world tour.
“I felt like I was celebrating while everyone went to every city and felt the love.” It’s wonderful to share [the engagement] with everybody.
“It just feels like a real celebration,” Goodrem added, emphasizing the beauty of her relationship not only with Copley, but also with her fans.

Delta has dated a number of famous faces, including Nick Jonas, Brian McFadden and tennis star Mark Philippoussis.
However, much less is known about the singer’s current boyfriend, Matthew Copley.

In 2018, she told InStyle Australia that she had made a “conscious decision” to keep her love life private going forward.
‘I made one [choice] that I don’t even comment ‘yes’ or ‘no’… I haven’t said anything for three or four years,” she explained.
As a result, Delta and Matt never appear on the red carpet together, and the “Born to Try” hitmaker rarely discusses details of their relationship in interviews.

In February this year, she finally broke her silence in the Australian Women’s Weekly and confessed: “He’s my guitarist, I met him through music.”
“It’s incredible to be on stage with him because he’s so talented. “We’re really a team. “He’s my best friend, he’s kind and a beautiful person,” she continued.
‘I am very happy. It’s all very natural and I think it comes from a wonderful respect and great love. I am so grateful.’
Despite her comments, Delta insisted she didn’t want to reveal any more details about her husband.

“I learned early on that I enjoyed keeping some of it private.” “I’ve always been so understanding about living in the public eye since I was a teenager, but I also think it’s nice to keep some things private to keep.”
While Matthew is best known as his girlfriend’s guitarist, he has also worked with some other big names in the industry, including Conrad Sewell.
The pair even started their own independent record label called ATLED Records (ATLED is Delta spelled backwards).
