Thousands of demonstrators of different political positions took to the streets of the German city of Munich this Saturday to protest against the high-level security conference attended by United States Vice President Kamala Harris, among others, and against support for the military Ukraine.
Thousands of people gathered on the streets of this German city this Saturday to protest the 59th Munich Security Conference (MSC) because of its English acronym.
The action alliance against the NATO security conference is demonstrating against “militarism, nationalism, anti-Semitism and racism” under the motto “Negotiate instead of shooting” or “Disarm instead of rearm”.
The Munich alliance advocated peace and called for NATO allies to stop arms deliveries to Ukraine and for negotiations to begin between Russia and Ukraine to resolve the armed conflict.
Around 5,000 police officers have been deployed to the area in the city to ensure security during the planned protests.
The meeting will bring together at least 40 heads of state, ministers, leaders of international organizations such as NATO; the United Nations (UN) and politicians.
