Deportivo Municipal had to endure the “escape” of several of its players opening tournament Due to the economic and management crisis in the first half of this year 2023. But although the city councilors started the Clausura with a decimated squad, they pulled the “claw” and won a great triumph as a guest against Unión Comercio. This victory helped mitigate the difficult period the club is going through, but would not be a reason to stop thinking about reinforcements, including from abroad, as President Aldo Olcese assured.
The former player revealed that there is currently an English footballer training with the first-team on a trial basis on the recommendation of Nolberto Solano, who had been appointed coach of the Acadé a few weeks ago, although the final pick was Rafo Castillo.
“We have an English player who arrived yesterday and was recommended by ‘Ñol’. He’s on trial with us, we’ll see him for a few days. Rafo will make the decision in the end. He moves all over the attacking front,” Olcese said for Ovacion. Journalist Marcello Merizalde announced on his social networks that it is the striker David Oloye.
