Ron DeSantis has once again attacked Disney, accusing it of sending the wrong message to children.
“It is wrong to tell a second-grader that he may have been born in the wrong body and can change his gender,” the Florida governor thundered from the stage at the conservative Pray Vote Stand convention. “When I have to stand up to the biggest and baddest companies like Disney to protect our children, you can count on me,” he said, drawing a standing ovation from the crowd, which began chanting his name.
“Don’t tell me a man can become a woman. Don’t tell me a man can get pregnant. “I won’t accept it because it’s not true,” she attacked again.
The governor then took responsibility for managing the pandemic in Florida: “When the world went crazy because of Covid, we remained strong, a stronghold of freedom and reason.”
