One of the most intriguing pieces is without a doubt: cloud bedRManufactured by New York designer Parker. What is striking is the clear departure from the strongly office-oriented tenor of Neocon. represents a “sculptural” sofa bed that invites you to relax. This offers space for at least two people, but is designed for lying and lying down It has a solid structure but is more comfortable with a soft texture.
With a similar style but a different approach, Detroit designer Fehan designed the Phil Lounge.
In this case it is a chair that takes its name from its dog. The seat large it is meant to be touched and has a texture remarkably similar to that of a four-legged friend. In fact, according to Fehan himself, The chair must offer tactile comfort to anxious patients.
This piece is designed to provide a fun way to relieve stress by mimicking the gentle feeling of petting an animal known to lower the stress hormone cortisol
said Haworth.
In the seat category, too, there were a number of Prototype tables called Polaris by New Orleans designer Bowers. The tables are designed as outdoor furniture characterized by thin aluminum rods According to Bowers, they’re powder-coated and fan out in a way that mimics magnetic fields.

Everything has been thought out in line with Urquiola’s desire to expand the range of participants’ disciplines the selection of the inter-dimension aside by Nashville-based graffiti artist Wooden.
Since the rug occupies almost an entire room, covering the floor and part of the wall, it was placed in a separate room from the Design Lab area of the showroom. There are cartoon images on the face, and in the center is a round stool with the same pattern.
So it’s just as innovative the project of the Mexican designer Maximiliano Rosiles. This is indeed worked with Urquiolathe Haworth team and industrial fabric manufacturer Tek-Knit to develop a shelving system called Split-1.
What is special about this vision is the presence of a series of fabric cut-outs reminiscent of hammocks suspended between wooden poles.
“Split-1 deconstructs the shape of a traditional shelf into something unconventional and expressive” – said Haworth – The shape was reconstructed using materials and shapes that contradict each other, such as metal and fabrics, to create a mix of sinuous and sharp forms.
