Desiigner is putting his career on hold while he seeks help for his mental health after allegedly exposing himself on an international flight recently.
The rapper says he had a bad chemical reaction to a new drug, which prompted him to act on a return flight from Thailand and Tokyo.
“The last few months I have not been well and have struggled to come to terms with what is going on,” he wrote on his Instagram story on Thursday. “When I was performing for a concert abroad, I had to be taken to the hospital, I couldn’t think straight.”
He continued: “They gave me medication and I had to get on a plane home. I am ashamed of my actions that happened on that plane. I ended up back in the States and I’m getting admitted to a facility to help me out.”

The 25-year-old says he will be canceling all his upcoming shows and engagements while he gets the help he needs.
“Mental health is real guys please pray for me,” he concluded. “If your [sic] not feeling like yourself, please get help.”

Insiders told TMZ that the rapper – real name Sidney Selby – will not be prosecuted despite allegedly exposing himself to a flight attendant.
A Desiigner representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

This is the second time the rapper has avoided jail time.
In 2016, the rapper was arrested in New York for drug and threat offenses, but they were dropped just three months later.
At the time, police claimed the “Panda” actor also brandished a pistol during a traffic argument, but he was never charged with anything gun-related.
