Logan Mailloux is doing well in his first-ever season in the American League.
What's particularly impressive is the fact that he missed a lot of games before turning pro.
Finally, some doubted his adaptation to the next level (I'm one of them) because he didn't play for a while when he was young and needed to develop.
We know Mailloux's characteristics: he is tall, he shoots from the right, he plays physically, he is excellent offensively, as evidenced by his 34 points (11 goals) in 52 games this season…
This means that the more things progress, the more we look forward to seeing him play in Montreal.
On this topic, Anthony Marcotte, who was on the show together with Georges Laraque and Stéphane Gonzalez (BPM Sports), said that we should see Mailloux with the CH until the end of the season:
I'm confident we'll get him some games in the NHL this year. Probably after March 8th! –Anthony Marcotte
After the trade deadline, the Canadian will have the opportunity to make four recalls before the end of the season.
The idea of one of these assignments being used for Mailloux is interesting as it could give him some NHL experience before the next CH training camp.
Anthony Marcotte also believes in Mailloux's chances for the Canadian's next season:
Only one. Logan Mailloux.

If there's anyone who deserves the chance to be called up for NHL games, it's Logan Mailloux.
The problem, however, is that the Rocket are in the middle of the race for a playoff spot and the Laval team needs its best defender in the lineup.
Mailloux plays on the numerical advantage, he is one of Jean-François Houle's most frequently used defenders…
This is all to say that Mailloux is really important to the Rocket and that the Canadian has an important decision to make.
Do we prioritize developing young people who have the opportunity to break into the big leagues? Or do we focus on the success of the CH school club?

– Besides, Belzile hasn’t even played a game with the Rangers yet…
Alex Belzile is still on recall with the New York Rangers and will not play against the Rocket tonight in Hartford. Belzile still remains the Wolf Pack's leading scorer with 37 points in 43 games. Youngsters Brennan Ohtmann and Brett Berard follow with 36 and 34.
